What makes me passionate about blogging?
Mainly because, it’s for me. I’m not writing a paper for school or report for work. Its whatever I want my blog and content to be about. I love talking about my kids (which parent doesn’t, duh) but also my experiences and reaching out to other parents who can also relate. I also love to promote the working mommy and self care. To advocate for work/life balance. To empower the working Mommy and ensure she can have the career, and the family. My blog is my place, my safe haven to talk about what I want and, hence the name, not filter myself!
10 Random Facts about me:
I am deaf in one ear from a fall when I was just 18 months old.
I was also born with a cleft palate, and had surgery to repair it when I was just a baby
I have started courses to be a Realtor and Interior Design, both I abandoned
I’m a certified Make Up Artist, graduated from Vancouver Film School.
I’m born and raised on a large island in Canada
I have 2 kids, a dog and a hubby
I work full time while also going to school for my Human Resources Diploma.
No I am not crazy!
I have a love for cereal, it is my bedtime snack
I gave birth to both daughters with no drugs, and my 2nd at home in water

My Questions from Hannah
1.What is your biggest fear?
God, my biggest fear. The world is scary, I have a lot. What if my girls don’t look up to me? What if I don’t succeed in the capacity I am striving for?
2. What is the riskiest thing you’ve ever done?
Riskiest….Literally probably give birth at home with pretty much no midwife here until the moment she was born. She almost missed her!
When I was 20 I up and left my home town to work for the summer in a national park, I had never heard of, knowing no one, all by myself. Was the best summer of my life.
3. What is your favorite season of the year and why?
Summer, hands down. I love not being cold. I love the sun kissed skin, and being outside, the beach, picnics with my family!
4. If you could have one more hour with someone who has passed, who would it be?
My Granny, especially now. So much has happened since I last saw her. I would love her to meet my husband and kids. See me now 🙁
5. What is your favorite kind of social event to attend? (i.e. weddings, sporting events, etc.)
I’m a homebody by nature, so nothing crazy. Maybe dinner and a movie. Weddings are hit or miss. Depends whose wedding 😉
6. What is your favorite app on your phone?
My Amazon app. You can say my prime membership is worth it!
7. Where is your happy place?
Snuggled in with my kids as they fall asleep. They could have been absolute assholes all day, but as soon as they are completely relaxed, even breathing and just sweet angelic look as they sleep. All bets are off. I could stay there all night. Sometimes I do.
8. Where would you travel to if money weren’t an issue?
The Maldives. It looks magnificent.
9. What is your guilty food of choice?
Gosh, anything with gooey cheese or horribly bad kids cereal. I’m not even joking.
10. What is your morning routine?
Weekday: run around late, getting everyone ready and out the door
Weekend: Coffee, coffee, coffee and stay in pajamas for as long as possible.
